To Submit or Approve a Distribution Order

Once the distribution order details are complete, you can submit it for approval (if you do not have approval permissions), or approve it directly. Even if the distribution order has been submitted for approval, documents may still be added, changed, or deleted before the distribution order is approved.

Follow these steps to submit or approve a distribution order.

  1. Open the distribution order that you want to submit or approve.
  2. From the Object menu, do one of the following:

    To submit the distribution order for approval, select Submit.

    or

    To approve the distribution order, select Approve.

    The Modify Distribution Orders Status page appears. For example,

When the distribution order is approved, you can select Create Copies from the Object menu, to create the document copies.
